Interior inspiration: Animoya Garage’s Pasha-interior 928.

Exterior

Full strip and repaint in the car’s factory color, Petrol Blue Metallic (code 376), with a little extra pearl for depth. It’s a two-stage metallic: epoxy primer over bare metal, sealer, the 376 basecoat, and a high-solids clear on top.

Petrol Blue Metallic 376 + pearl

Restoration scope

  • Full body strip and repaint
  • Replace sun-damaged plastics and connectors
  • Full interior rebuild: carpet, foam, upholstery, dash, rear dash, headliner and floors
  • New window and body seals throughout (a full rubber kit after paint, plus a new windshield)
  • Rewire with aircraft-grade Tefzel wire, keeping the factory end plugs
  • Power-seat upgrade using later-928 seats
  • Engine refresh: gaskets, seals, hoses, timing belt, water pump, and machine-shop work after measuring
  • Air conditioning restored
  • Off-body work: the shell on a rotisserie or body cart, with the engine and transmission/torque tube on their own stands

What’s next

  • Finish bagging and labeling the window hardware
  • Decide between a rotisserie and a body cart
  • Find a good early non-airbag dash core
  • Look for later 928 S4/GT front power seats
  • Get leather samples and a quote for the full interior
